Domestic Operations Agent – All Markets

Mach 1 has a career opportunities for an Domestic Operations Agent. Job functions of an operations agent will include, but are not limited to:
- Receive customer orders via phone, email or web entry
- Generate all documentation required for the movement of the cargo via land or air
- Quote customers on shipments timely and accurately
- Route freight in the most efficient and economical manner
- Track and trace freight
- Contact delivery agents and pickup agents to make arrangements for pickups or deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment required. Must be a dependable, organized, detail oriented, self-starter with a min of 1-2 yrs. of ground or air transportation experience.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated sound judgment. Planning, creativity and innovation skills are a plus, along with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex situations. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Experience in Cargowise is a plus.
