In July of 1988, Mach 1 Global Services was incorporated as a domestic and international freight forwarder headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded by Michael Entzminger, Mach 1’s mission and quality policy from its very beginning was to provide premier customer service and complete customer satisfaction on every shipment.
As revenues, client base, and shipments began to increase, it became clear that Mach 1 customers responded favorably to this highly personalized approach, resulting in the development of a strategic plan to increase Mach 1’s presence in key markets both domestically and internationally.
Since its incorporation, Mach 1 has provided its customer base with unique transportation and supply chain solutions between the United States and Mexico. In 1991, Mach 1 Global Services opened its second domestic facility in El Paso, Texas, to better serve its customers doing business between United States and Mexico. After the successful launch of its El Paso facility, Mach 1 opened six more offices across the nation. By the end of 2001, Mach 1 was operating eight company owned facilities.
In 2002, Mach 1 Aero Servicios was formed as a legal Mexican operating and financial entity headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico. Today, Mach 1 Aero Servicios operates five company owned facilities servicing its clients headquartered in Mexico, North America, and worldwide. Entering its 20th year in business, Mach 1 is extremely committed to its investment and customers in Mexico. Following Mach 1’s expansion and increased presence in Mexico, 11 more company owned facilities were opened across the United States.
To further increase its global presence and better serve their customers doing international business, Mach 1 Global Services expanded its global footprint into Asia. In 2006, seven China Mach 1 facilities were opened as well as a Mach 1 Global Services Singapore branch.
In mid-2009, expansion plans include opening multiple company office in India. Latin America expansion will also begin in 2009 starting with company owned facilities in Brazil.
