In July of 1988, Mach 1 Global Services was incorporated as a domestic and international freight forwarder based in Phoenix, Arizona. The mission of the company from its early beginning was to provide personal service and complete customer satisfaction on every shipment.
As revenue and shipments began to increase, it became clear the customers responded favorably to this highly personalized approach. The result was the development of a strategic plan to increase Mach 1's presence in other key U.S. markets. Beginning in 1991, the expansion plan was launched with the opening of Mach 1's second office in El Paso, Texas.
